A True Story about one of our experiences as a Landlord

We had some tenants once, who had two cats and a dog.  They didn’t seem to understand that pets are supposed to do their business outside.  What’s even more incredible is that the tenants didn’t clean up the mess; truth is, we believe they did not even own a vacuum. For the better part of a year they lived in the rental unit in this condition! The reason we never noticed is because they were so good about paying us that we did not feel the need to do anything more than the yearly inspection. In Fact, The ONLY reason we found out was because they decided NOT to renew the lease, and moved out on the anniversary of the Lease Agreement.

Okay, so they paid us on time but at what cost?

The repair work when they left was easily double all they had paid in rent. Yikes!

Try to imagine the rankest, nauseating, urine and feces smell possible.  We can’t reproduce that smell, nor would you want us to, but here is a photo to document the damage.
